Activision - Product Relaunch: Spyro to Snoop

How a tiny social campaign got the attention of millions of fans . . . and the Department of Homeland Security


The Department of Homeland Security, local law enforcement and the FFA all told us we couldn’t do it. But we found a way and did it anyway.

To reintroduce Spyro the Dragon to the world we built and flew a flying, fire-breathing dragon drone from New York to Los Angeles. All to give a fan of the original Spyro the new game - Snoop Dogg.


The entire story unfolded in real time on social. Fans got to interact and decide where and what Spyro did all the way to Uncle Snoop’s house.
